- To establish and maintain a financial policy for ACEN.
- To prepare the annual budget of ACEN and control adherence to the budget.
- To review and regulate income and expenditure of ACEN from time to time.
- To advise on general policies related to all aspects of the administration and activities of ACEN and review these policies from time to time.
- To deal with any other matter referred to it by the Council.
- To study the pattern of Engineering practices and conditions of engagements in other countries and make appropriate recommendations.
- To report regularly to Council on situations and circumstances prevailing on professional liability.
- To explain the existing Nigerian Law on this in detail.
- To provide case studies both in and outside Nigeria on this.
- To monitor the activities of the ACEN Insurance Company Limited (ACENICO), and report to Council as appropriate on the performance of ACENICO.
- To ensure real-time on-line payment of subscription by members, especially those who are outside Lagos.
- To initiate actions that will promote involvement of consulting engineers in poverty alleviation/wealth creation.
- To promote law to enhance employment of competent local engineers.
- To establish in house legislative desk to monitor activities in the National Assembly.
- To review modalities for establishment of Zonal offices.
- To formulate establishment procedure for the effective secretariat administration.
- To review the article, and memo of ACEN as at and when necessary.
