| The 33rd ACEN Annual conference and General Meeting (AGM) were held on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd November 2011 at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Ikeja Lagos.
The Theme of the conference was "DEVELOPING THE ENGINEERING CONSULTING INDUSTRY"
The Annual conference was declared open with a keynote address by the Lagos state Governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, who was represented by his adviser on Works and Infrastrusture Engr. Ganiyu Johnson.
A paper on Public Procurement process was delivered by the Director of Public Procurement Engr. Emeka Ezeh who was represented by Mr. Ayo Aderibigbe an official of the Directorate.
Also as part of the two-day event were Dinner and Awards Night during which awards were given to deserving members of the association and outside it
The Conference attracted a large number of ACEN Members as well as the general public
